• ClrMamePro v2.61a: After alot of WIP news, a new version of this ROM manager has been released Check out what's new in the latest version: fixed scanner crash (2.61a) fixed fastscan load failed (2.61a) major speed up for profiler (when scanning datfiles) (it also shows the currently scanned files now) (2.61a) "missing (but fixable) rom" check will only be used in incomplete sets (not in fully missing sets) -> major speedup (2.61a) lots of minor source changes (md5, wordparser, cachefiles + set-structures....) partially added diskimage support (check options are currently disabled) rebuilder warning when no addpaths are available & 'use addpaths' is used rom/samplenames with \ or / will be parsed correctly. zipped-dat-selector also accepts double-clicks to add the file updates to several "0-crcs" stuff: changeable textcolor, new message, new icon, fixed show-missing-0crc toggle minor gui changes disabling rebuilder->zip files disables the "recompress" button as well settings->export datfile export uses the current datfile header information optimized the quick fix missing option (fast crc32 match) unneeded masks are also applied on unneeded sets fixed "set" + "unneeded" check didn't list unneeded non-zipped files So go grab the new version on our Downloads page - cyrussd • Regarding the new FinalBurn: Just thought I'd post a reply about this subject. I DO NOT plan on re-adding this file to the site, as FinalBurn Alpha is basically the same, and will most likely have the new options/improvements added into the next version. Besides, most of the new improvements are non-CPS2 related anyways It does however give me a warm, tingly feeling all over knowing that Dayvee's back - cyrussd • Final Dave Back!: That's right you read it right, Final Dave is back in the emu scene. Alot of you out there might say, "Who gives?" or "Who's he?". I don't care what any people out there say, Final Burn Rocks! The original Final Burn has been released in version 0.510. You can grab it on our Downloads page (cyruss has yet to re-add Final Burn to the upload list). Final Dave's website was on Angelfire, but due to bandwith problems, he may have moved it another server, we'll just have to wait and see. - C-GenX

• Nebula v2.12: El Semi has released a new version of his emu adding yet another new platform, this time around its the PGM system. Here's a list of what's new: PGM Added PGM system emulation. Only Oriental Legend is supported, because PGM games have protection chips that is different in all games. Take note that this is the first version, and may be some gfx glitches (mainly zoom related). Also note that there is no sound emulation yet. NEOGEO A KOF2K1 DRIVER WILL NOT BE ADDED. CPS1 Fixed sprites disappearing. GENERAL Fixed Scanlines when using 640x480. Fixed all drivers rom names and CRCs to match MAME (Thanks to Logiqx). Added plugin support for blitters (directory PLUGINS) see the included plugsrc.zip for some plugins sample src. This new version is available on our Downloads page. - cyrussd
