• ClrMamePro v3.22a: Looks like we accidentally missed a few updates to our favorite ROM manager, so here's what has been updated in the past few releases: Version 3.22a fixed: rebuilder doesn't rebuild fake clones correctly when parts already exist misc: readded the x of y set information to various dialogs misc: support for chds in rompaths (without set subfolder) misc: added internal M1 to engine.cfg. If you're using CMPro's autoupdate, you should allow to overwrite the engine.cfg. Old profiles will show a warning about using an old engine.cfg though but they will be automatically updated when loading. Version 3.22 misc: moved the x of y sets in scanner's titlenbar to the scan results window and removed it from merger, rebuilder and settings window misc: some changes to diskimage and samplefile extension detection (after some mamedev discussion) misc: number of biossets is listed in the statistics You will find it available now on our Downloads page. - cyrussd • Nebula Jukebox v2.9: Another older release that slipped through the cracks, here's what's new in this version: Added Digital Sound Borad 2 emulation for Top skater and Sega Rally 2 Added all dumped model3 games. Some have changed the rom name, so check the included romcenter dat. Fixed indy 500 noises and other SCSP bugs. Fixed virtua cop crashing. A lot of other fixes that I don't remember... • NAOMI Emulated! MvsC2 Dumped!: That's right, you heard it. For all you newbies out there, that means that you can now finally play Marvel vs Capcom 2 on your computer. Since NAOMI is now emulated, a full speed Dreamcast emulator should be available within the next month. The best part about this new NAOMI emulator is that I tested it on my 120 MHz P1 and it ran at full speed. You can download the NAOMI emulator bundled with the MvsC2 rom here. :Update: The website is no longer available. Try BitTorrent or just post on the forum to get a copy. - C-GenX

• ClrMamePro v3.21: Roman has released a couple new versions of his handy ROM utility over the past few days, which include many fixes and improvements regarding CHDs and nodumps in bios sets. Here's what's new since v3.10a: 3.21 (08-Jan-2004) misc: changed fake clone (100% identical sets) behaviour. Since I think the number of sets in your rompaths should match the number of sets in MAME, you need the fake sets now (in split and non-merged set mode only of course). And since I don't like empty zipfiles you have to double them misc: infoprompts about fake clones only appear in "show all" mode misc: infoprompts about possible nodump replacement with known crc32 within parent/clone relationships is only shown when using "show all" mode. The default value is YES, the nodumps are replaced with good ones to prevent keeping dummies in fullmerge mode. misc: titlebars show number of biossets, too misc: missing biosroms toggle a green profile status to red now misc: little zipscan speedincrease for sets with lots of files 3.20a (05-Jan-2004) misc: clone-diskimages which are different from the parent's disks won't be marked as unneeded when moved to the parentfolder (jdreddb issue) 3.20 (05-Jan-2004) misc: added support for nodumps in biossets (mame 78u1 psarc95 issue) (since psarc95 is a 'one nodump only' set, nodump-handling won't create it. Add it manually or use fixmissing/rebuilder) misc: backup's _unknown folder will be automatically used for fixmissing (though it may only find stuff in there when the 'fixmissing scans all files' option is used. That's not recommended, since it's too slow. Searching _unknown will be useful when scanning different dats or different MAME versions though.) misc: export datfile exports chd-sha1 information, too misc: changed some gui texts fixed: handle errors for files > 2GB (zipfiles are still limited to 2 GB though...will change that when I got some more time).
