• ClrMamePro 3.40:
Roman released a new ClrMamePro. Yippee. Listing of what's new below.
- XML support readded
- xerces-c_2_5_0.dll is now needed and included in the current package.
- MAME, PINMAME and MESS engines use -listxml now.
- 'engine.cfg' has to be replaced with the one in this package.
- added enginetype OLD_MAME for MAME versions without -listxml.
- removed some entries from engine.cfg
- A new engine.cfg will show you prompts for each and any profile which was created/loaded with the old engine.cfg.
- Little PinMAME (1.32.001) issue: Current PinMAME got a '&' character in one romname, causing xml importing to fail since it has to be coded as '&'. This should be fixed with the next PinMAME version. If you still want to use ClrMamePro with current PINMAME, you have to change engine.cfg's PINMAME entry back to "command -listinfo".

• Ok, this time it's for real...:
NAOMI emulation is under production. Because of Chancast's release (a new DC emulator that can run commercial games), NAOMI emulation has begun. Because the Dreamcast and NAOMI boards share so much in common, very little will have to be changed from the original Chankast emulator to run NAOMI games. So far, the dev team has run into a boot problem. You can view the details on the Chanka forums under this thread.

• ClrMamePro 3.32c:
For those fetishist who get off on verifying their ROMs, Roman has released a new ClrMamePro.
Here is a list of what's new:
- Misc: parser detects illegal hash values
- Misc: parser shows a prompt for not imported sets/diskimages/samples/roms (only if settings->datfile errors is set to "show common" or "show all")
- Misc: rebuilder supports rebuilding of zips which are used as rom entries
- Misc: minor cleanup
- Fixed: wordparser returns "''" or '""' instead of an empty string
- Fixed: remove-rebuilt-source too-longfilename-issue
